Jones Beach State Park

World famous Jones Beach State Park, home of 6.5 miles of beautiful white-sand beach on the Atlantic Ocean, is made up of more than 2,400-acres of maritime environment on the south shore of Long Island, just minutes from the hotel! Jones Beach offers many activities to those who visit the park. You can swim in the ocean, stroll the boardwalk, fish, get a bite to eat at one of the many concession stands, play miniature golf, pitch-putt golf, shuffleboard and basketball, attend concerts at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater or learn about the marine environment at the Theodore Roosevelt Nature Center. Other activities that take place in the park include pool swimming, sunbathing, bicycling, surfing, and visiting the playgrounds.

Cantiague Park

This great park is located just around the corner from the hotel, within walking distance! Encompassed in 127 acres, there are a multitude of activities for all ages. The swimming pool complex, named by News12 Long Island viewers as the best outdoor swimming facility on Long Island, includes an Olympic-sized pool, two water slides, a diving pool, a “kiddie” pool, a training pool and an interactive water-play area. Lockers, showers and a refreshment area are located near the pool. In addition you will find miniature golf, a 9-hole pitch and putt course, various athletic fields and courts, a picnic area, playground and even an indoor ice skating rink!

Bethpage State Park

Bring your clubs! Most famous for being the site of the U.S. Open championship in 2002 and 2009, these links are the home to 5 glorious golf courses including the incredible Bethpage Black. More than just its world famous golf courses, visitors also enjoy the park’s picnic facilities, playing fields, bridle paths, tennis courts, nature and biking trails. In the winter, try their cross-country skiing trails. There’s a great restaurant open for lunch and snacks.

Eisenhower Park

With almost 1000 acres of open space and recreation in the heart of Nassau County, Eisenhower Park is one of the largest public spaces in the New York metropolitan area – larger, in fact, than Central Park. The park offers a full range of athletic and family activities, including one of the finest swimming facilities in the U.S., 3 premiere 18 hole golf courses, miniature golf, driving range, dozens of athletic fields and courts, picnic areas, summertime entertainment, playgrounds, fitness trails and more. Be sure to check out all the free summertime entertainment at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre.
